WebJul 21, 2024 · I bought the 1102M Rockaway surf rod for surf fishing off Stuart/ Jensen Beach, Fl, mostly for pompano and Atlantic kingfish. This is a beautiful looking rod, very light weight and with a very sensitive tip. I also have an Okuma Longitude surf rod which is a heavy rod and when I hook a 1 to 2 pound fish I hardly know its on the line.
